Hello, I’m Makyla!
I am enthusiastically passionate about child development and a major advocate for learning through play. I strive to create a positive & inclusive environment where every child feels valued & supported as they play, learn, and grow.

I've been a certified Early Childhood Educator for 10+ years and have always exclusively taught preschoolers. Over the years and through my entrepreneur journey, my heart has always been in education and I'm ecstatic to be back in the classroom!
I'm grateful to be a part of this incredible community and so look forward to meeting you & your little ones.

My husband is a power lineman & we have two kids, aged 7 & 9.

I’m also certified in interior design and run a small design company specializing in kids spaces & family homes.

I LOVE dogs and have two pups named Biggie + Bloom.

I'm a goofball & I love to laugh!

My favourite colours are all pastels - least favourite colour is red.
